On July 23, 2011, State Farm and the Greater Ozarks Chapter of the Red Cross will once again hold the State Farm / Red Cross Disaster Services Open in order to raise funds and provide aid to hundreds of families faced with devastating loss.
Since its inception in 1994, the State Farm / Red Cross Disaster Services Open has emerged as one of the Ozarks area’s premier golf tournaments. Over the past 17 years, the tournament’s proceeds have exceeded over $800,000, an amount that serves as a significant part of the Red Cross’s budget for disaster relief to area residents. Whether this means buying clothes and shoes or providing immediate emergency lodging, the funds raised through the State Farm / Red Cross Disaster Services Open help provide assistance to families in the Ozarks who need it most.
