Since its inception in 1994, the Disaster Services Open has emerged as one of the Ozarks area’s premier golf tournaments. Over the past 18 years, the tournament’s proceeds have exceeded over $1,000,000, an amount that serves as a significant part of the Red Cross’s budget for disaster relief to area residents. Whether this means buying clothes and shoes or providing immediate emergency lodging, the funds raised through the Disaster Services Open help provide assistance to families in the Ozarks who need it most.
Disaster Services Open
On July 21st, 2012, State Farm and the Greater Ozarks Chapter of the Red Cross will once again hold the Disaster Services Open in order to raise funds and provide aid to hundreds of families faced with devastating loss.

About the Course
The Payne Stewart Golf Club is a tribute to Missouri native and favorite son, Payne Stewart. It is difficult not to be affected by the story of Payne’s life and to feel his legacy when you play this championship golf course. Each hole at the PSGC is interwoven with a story of Stewart’s life and golfing experiences throughout his career. The course was designed by Chuck Smith with design consultant and PGA Professional, Bobby Clampett.
Lodging
Lodging will be available to sponsors and players at the Hampton Inn – Payne Stewart Dr. When booked through the Red Cross office by June 30, 2012 as part of one’s registration, a special, tax exempt price of $109.00 will be the rate per night. If not booked by the deadline through the Red Cross the room availability cannot be guaranteed.
